What they needed
An updated look, tagline and brand facelift that would break through the marketing and advertising clutter and solidify who they are – a front-runner in the highly competitive charter airline industry who provide 24 hours a day of intensive attention to detail and “luxury in motion” for a high-end luxury clientele.

Our Think
DB Aviation’s existing icon continued to hold substantial brand equity, so we kept the look and slightly modified the exiting typeface. The greatest changes came with the shift from a dark, black background upon which only jets were featured, to adding a bright, optimistic blue sky backdrop, combined with lifestyle marketing prominently showing customers using DB’s high quality services and products. 

What Happened
The company recorded one of the best quarters in their 20 year history. We’d like to think it was all the new brand “look” and our intense understanding of the customer. But DB’s exceptional insight into understanding and knowing each of their unique customers, probably had something to do with such outstanding results as well!
