Have you been tasked with planning your firm's holiday party? The best places get booked in October, so be sure to plan ahead! Here are some tips to help you and your colleagues celebrate the best of the season.
Know your audience. Many organizations choose an activity-based theme for their holiday party. Great idea, however, make sure it is an activity in which most would like to participate. You may love to belt out "Winter Wonderland" at karaoke, but the boss may not.
Visit the venue. Watching a virtual tour on the web may not be the best way to select your party’s holiday venue. Be sure to take time to visit the intended venue in person and review all contract policies with the catering manager.
Arrange for transportation. Call around for estimates with local bus companies or limo companies. Many offer holiday pricing and discounts for groups. You will want to offer a taxi or car service to those employees who celebrate a little too much.
