Last year, Maclyn Group was tasked with developing a brand identity for the then forming Choose DuPage organization. We've been so proud to see the brand flourish over the past year and were honored to recently design their first Annual Report.

ARE WOMEN YOUR TARGET MARKET?

If so, do you know where to find them? Online! According to eMarketer, more than one-half (53%) of the US female Internet population of 79 million actively participated in some type of social media at least weekly. Of the female social media participants, 75% took part in social networking and 55% used blogs.

The study goes on to say that as 12 million women posted to blogs and 8 million published them as of April 2009. These numbers are steadily increasing and continue to remind us that social networking is quickly becoming a preferred method of communication. Users are becoming more interested in posting and publishing their thoughts, comments and feedback.

If your company, firm or organization does not currently host a blog, now is the time to get on board! Your customers, both current and potential, want to know what you are all about. It’s also a great way to stay in touch with your customer base by announcing new product launches, upcoming events, or important news about your company.
